Hi Again , We may have another connection thru the Magills.
The immigrant Magill was William whose will was written
in 1749-Augusta Co.VA,and estate settled in 1858.His sons were: John born @ 1725,was one of the three sons & five daughters. John was an author and his 1838 letter identifies who's who in the family. His children: Wm 1750-1813;James 1753-1825; Eliz 1755-1843; Samuel, John 1759-1842;David,my ancestor; Ann & Hugh.
Your magill family must come from this John, or his
brothers:James or William.
James's sons were: William, Alexander and James
Williams's sons were: Samuel, William, James, Robert,and the last three John, Hugh and Charles by second wife.
Let me know how things develop, I would like to have
a decendants list from all the above. I guess we all would. Write anytime.
