Magill's in East TN

Hello,

I have some Magill's in Roane Co. TN ca. 1820's+ that I am trying to find out the origin on. They are: Hugh, Joseph, James,Robert and William MAGILL in Roane Co. TN 1820's+ on County Court minutes). Only James and Robert MAGILL appear by 1830 on the Census. My ggggAunt Elizabeth "Betsey" Cash married James MAGILL there in Roane Co. TN in 1828. They all lived on the Roane/Rhea(later Meigs) Co. TN border. I would like to know where these MAGILLS were before Roane Co. Tn, as I think my Cash's were with them also in the period of 1804(when they sell off land in Washington Co. TN) and 1823 (when they start showing up in Roane/Rhea.) I think they may have been in Sevier Co. TN during that time frame, but I haven't been able to look at much there as it is a burned county. Thanks for any help.
