I have only this morning read your posted message of October 2002! If you are still out there, I hope that you will reply.
I have a lot of family information for Manuel & Marcelina (Maestas) Maestas of La Puebla.
They were first cousins. Marcelina's father was Eulogio Maestas, son of Pablo Benito Mestas, son of Francisco Mestas, son of Tomas de Aquino (Gregorio) Mestas, son of Bartolome Mestas.
Manuel was son of Jose Antonio Maestas, son of Pablo Benito Mestas, son of Tomas de Aquino Mestas, son of Bartomome Mestas.

I have a lot of primary documentation as well as transcribed (from the Archdiocese of Santa Fe) records that are very reliable.
