I have found the baptism record for Juan Madrid ( Madril ) at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Walsenburg, CO.:
1. Juan Crisostomo Madril: was born on Dec. 27, 1872 ( matches my Juan Madrid's birth date on his grave stone ). He was baptized on Jan. 2, 1873, the son of Julian Madril and Juana Maria Romero. Witnesses were Matias Sanbrain and Maria Antonia Madril. No town was listed for this family but the few other Madril's baptized there were from Cucharas in Huerfano County in Colorado.
Can anyone help me trace this Madril family further back in time?
