Hello Michelle :

I don't have parish registers for France, but I've access to the ones for Quebec. Here is my result :

As per the register of the parish of St-Charles-de-Charlesbourg (Charlesbourg, province of Quebec), Pierre Lefebvre (son of Pierre Lefebvre and Magdeleine Trudel) is born on January 22nd, 1691.

Nowhere I can see this "Ld". And for what I know, it's not a usual abbreviation in Quebec.

If I were you, I wouldn't care for it.

Best regards,

Gilles
