Hi Gilles, Thanks for getting in touch with this information. It confirms what I got last year from someone that e-mailed me directly. Below is what I entered for my notes at that time. This is not my ancestor. I was doing research for a friend at the time. Once again thank you, Janet
Marriage Notes for JEAN-RAPHAEL MADORE and ELISABETH AUTIN:
Marriage: On January 24, 1803 in Notre-Dame-De-Liesse
Town/District: Rivière-Ouelle/Kamouraska, Qc
Jean-Raphael Madore-Laplante [ Augustin Madore-Laplante & Josephte Ouellet ]
and Elisabeth Autin. Her parents names were never recorded in the certificate.
Their marriage is recorded on a CD for the marriages at Rivière Ouelle, Kamouraska, yet she was not recorded under Autin/Hautin on this CD.
I have not seen the marriage certificate, but I have been told that her surname does not appear on it. Perhaps Autin comes from the children's baptismal certificate or their marriage contracts. Either way this makes it almost impossible to trace her ancestors.
Their children: The first children named Laplante and others Madore
Nazaire born in December 3rd 1805 it is said Marie Isabelle Autin
Euphemie July 14th 1812 Just Isabelle
Marie July 11th 1814 it is said Isabelle Hottin
Odilon January 27th 1821 just Isabelle
Jean Pierre May 11th 1804 again Elizabeth Hautin (not Jean-Baptiste)
