John Madison and Isabella Minor Todd were the greatgrandparents of Pres. James Madison

Ambrose Madison (1696 -1732) m Frances Taylor

James Madison, Sr. m Eleanor Rose Conway

President James Madison, Jr. m Dorthea(Dolley)Payne Todd
(no issue)

Dolley was a widow when she married James. It is also believed that Todd was a married name for Isabella and her maiden name was Minor.

I am descended through Mary Madison, daughter of John and Isabella.
