My deceased husband's father, Richard Goldie Madison (1897-1970) was born in Arbor Hill, Augusta Co., VA. Richard's parents were James H. Madison & Ava Lee Terrell. His GGG (maternal) grandparents were William Bauserman and Susannah Golladay. The name Golladay is pronounced "Goldie". My father in-law often spoke of his "uncle Alfred" who taught him to dance, etc. He and his brothers, Harry & Walter also were told that they were related to the President's family. If any of this is helpful to your friend, I'll add more info. but I could not find any of the names you posted in his line.
