I am Ruth Walton (Madill) I have done some research on the family name.
The Madill's were French Huegenot. They came originally from La Rochell in France. They ended
up in Ireland because of persecution.
7 brothers came to Canada in 1838. I am connected to the Madills from Gooderham Ont. in Haliburton County in Ontario.
I am interested in any information about the Family
