LOOKING FOR INFORMATION ON WILLIAM HENRY MADILL OR THOMAS MADILL. 1881 UK CENSUS SHOWS:

WILLIAM HENRY MADILL (SR) AS HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD, AGE 30, BORN IN CORK IRELAND, OCCUPATION MUSICIAN BANDMASTER.

MARY, WIFE, AGE 29, BORN IN LIMERICK IRELAND, OCCUPATION DRESSMAKER.

THOMAS, SON, AGE 4, BORN IN LIMERICK IRELAND

WILLIAM H, SON, AGE 4, BORN IN LIMERICK IRELAND

MARGARET A, DAUGHTER, AGE 2, BORN CARLISLE ENGLAND

NANCY K, DAUGHTER, AGE 3 MONTHS, BORN CARLISLE ENGLAND

MY DIRECT LINE DEALS WITH SON WILLIAM H. APPARENTLY, THE MOTHER MARY DIED ABT. 1882, FATHER WILLIAM AND SON WILLIAM LEAVE ENGLAND FOR KINGSTON, ONTARIO, CANADA. FATHER WILLIAM REMARRIES TO A GRACE BENNETT IN KINGSTON, ONTARIO, CANADA IN 1889. UNKNOWN WHAT HAPPENED TO THOMAS, MARGARET AND NANCY. IN THE OBITUARY FOR WILLIAM JR, HIS MOTHER'S FULL NAME IS NOT MENTIONED AND NOTHING EVER STATES THAT HE HAD ANY SIBLINGS BORN TO HIS MOTHER MARY. WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO THE 3 OTHER KIDS. ALSO WOULD LIKE SOME MORE INFORMATION ON THE MOTHER.

ANY SUGGESTIONS ON HOW TO RESEARCH THIS IN ENGLAND WOULD BE APPRECIATED. THE GENEALOGICAL SOCIETY IN CARLISLE CUMBERLAND COUNTY, IS CURRENTLY NOT OPEN TO QUERIES. HOPING THERE IS ANOTHER AVENUE TO PURSUE....THANKS IN ADVANCE...
