Hi Doug:
Reading your message, agree with your research. Joseph Patterson Medill may have been related. Henry J Madill, Colonel of the 141st Pa. Vol (later Major General) was my GGUncle. Georgette Alexandera Madill Mattei (Neice of Henry J Madill) was the daughter of Judge George A. Madill of St. Louis, Mo. She along with her Mother and cousin survived the Titanic sinking. Any information on other Madills would be appreciated.
Bill Madill
