Hi: I also have Joseph Brown and Agnes Todd as ancestors. I have only found 12 kids for sure and one possible, I think a nameless infant who may have been born&died before Samuel born in 1841.Eliza Agnes Brown b.Aug 27,1854, Cavan township. married Dec.22,1875 in Collingwood, Ont. to Thomas Madill. Their first child, William Joseph Havelock Madill was born June 4,1876. I have seen the 'discreet' marriage date of Sept 1875 a number of times through oral history, but the Ontario Vital Statistic films I have looked at and verified the Dec 1875 date..
Eliza's brother, Joseph, married Thomas's sister, Martha Elenor Madill, Dec. 25,1874, Meaford, Ont. (to be accurate, I left myself a note to recheck this one. I may have written 74 instead of 75...) Joseph b. March 8,1848, Cavan township. Am slowly tracing kids/spouses on the Ontario Vital Stats films, but I do get sidetracked easily. So many relatives, so little time to search. Hope this helps you. Debbie
