Dear Chrisopher Madill great to read about those of the family line spread so far away. I believe there were five brothers who came to Canada in 1832 and settled a large tract known historically as the Madill Settlement in a place called Gooderham in Ontario Canada, My great grandfather settled in Whitby where the family reunions used to occur. I was born elsewhere but returned in 1968 to work in a hospital here and fell in love with the small town of Whitby, Ontario. It is 25 miles east of Toronto Love to hear more anytime e-mail me
