US SOLDIER LOOKING FOR MADIGAN FAMILY IN IRELAND
Posted by: William M.J. Madigan (ID *****7515) Date: March 17, 2004 at 20:31:02

I'm a US Soldier looking for my Madigan family that lives in Ireland. I don't have much info except my mother was born in Ireland in 1940. Her maiden name was Madigan. I think there were 10 siblings all together. I don't know where exactly in Ireland they lived. I know my mom's mother (my grandmother) died in 1960 and my grandfather was still alive at the time... I think he was born in 1887? My mother and one of her sisters left Ireland around 1962, and came to New York to stay with cousins. Her sister later left and went back to Ireland. My mom stayed, and in 1971 she was working as a waitress in the Albany, New York area. My wife and I have been searching for ANY of my Madigan family for 10 years and have found no one. I leave for Iraq soon and just really want to find my family before I leave. Any info anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
