Yes I have that same infor too. I am at a dead end with Cora and Barrach though. It is rumored that Cora is the mother of my father through an out of wed lock birth which happened in Columbia, Tenn. My father was born July 30, 1932. There is no written record found for the live birth. I do not know if Cora was married to Barrach at that time or not. My father was given the name Edward McGee Madewell at birth. My father was taken in by an Emma Griffin from Sparta, Tn rumored to run a house of prostitution in Columbia. Emma would later marry Charles Standridge of north Alabama and local farmer in Culleoka, TN. When Emma died in 1946 my father was legally adopted by Emma's sister, Frances and second husband Edward Marks of Cadilac, Michigan. The adoption was drawn up by a lawyer in Nashville. I do not know if Cora nd Emma were related or what kind of relationship they had or if Cora was a prostitute or just someone who got pregnant and needed help. There is a lot of secrecy surrounding the story and I can not seem to find the truth. It is also rumored that Cora lived in Brotherton area in the 1940's and possibly as late as the 1970's and had a sister or sister in law that was a nurse working in the Cookeville area (or retired living in Cookeville.)
