Since your gr. grandfather, Louis, came over and had all his children here it's possible that Louis's father is my husband's grandfather's uncle. The uncle came over
with all of his children except one who was already married at the time.

You said your tree goes back to the 1600's.
the farthest back Mader I have in the tree
is Johann Michael Mader who married Elisabeth Laubern. The date given for them is 1632.
if you have this Johann in your tree then
you are related to my husband.
