The book on the Maddy's that I found, "Us Maddys" An account of the family in England and the Descendants of William Maddy of Fairfax County, Virginia, and James Maddy of Fairfax and orange counties. Emigrants. by Olive Maddy if Oskaloosa, Iowa. This lady goes by to England, places called Dorstone, The Combe or CWM, house and barn which was in the Maddy family for 400yrs. and sold in 1900. judy
