Thomas Maddux b.10 Oct 1720 Somerset, MD; died 1783 Fauquier Co., VA. Married Margaret Tombly 1745 VA. She was born ca 1720 VA. His parents are: Thomas Maddux and Mary.

William Maddux b. 17 July 1750; Prince William Co., VA; died 1810 VA.

Fanny Maddux; married Garrison.
Thomas Maddux; married Sarah Harrison.
Lazarus Maddux; (also found spelled Mattox); born 1755; died ca 1814 Ky. He left a will in Mason Co., Ky; Will Book A; P49; dated 1794.
Matthew Maddux m. Eve
Scolfield Maddux; married Susanna.
Nathaniel Maddux m. Ann Tennison.
Darkes Maddux (female) m. Jones
Scholfield Maddux had a nephew, Craven Maddux who settled in Putnam County, Tn and many descendants still living there today.
I have additional information in a book I put together and published and I have this Maddux Family in it.
Do you have any descendants for Scholfield? His relation to the Shaver, (Shafer, Shaffer?) family is most likely the father of his wife, Susanna. I do not have a maiden name for her.
Thanks for posting Scholfield. We didn't have any information on him except his wife's first name.
This Maddux Family were in Northampton Co., Va and from there into Maryland, and from there into Prince William and Fauquier Co, Va., and spread out from there.
At least two members of this family went to Limestone Country, (Maysville, Ky) with a mention that William Maddux and his family came to Limestone Country in November 1784. I later found him in the Church Records in Jefferson Co., Ky.
