I have a William Maddox who married Nancy Fort in Scott Co KY? before 1806 when daughter Sarah was born (she married a cousin, James Peak in Trimble Co KY) Possibly, Nancy and William lived in Oldham KY. Nancy's sister, Catherine married Thomas Maddox before 1815. Records of Scott Co indicate that William and Thomas did not live in Scott Co. Thomas moved to Henry Co KY. After he died Catherine moved to Calloway Co Ky and married 2nd a Nicholas Pyle.
Nancy and Catherine's father moved to Lewis Co Ky before 1818. I have no other info on Wm and Nancy. I did find a will in Scott Co that mentioned an infant child Thomas Maddox, but my Thomas was too old at the time.
Does anyone have any info on this family? Nancy and William may be the parents of a Christopher John Maddox of Ripley Co or Jefferson Co Indiana. Any information would be appreciated.
