MADDOX in ILLINOIS circa 1810

I have searched censuses and found Maddox in St. Clair and Washington Co., Illinois. My great-great-grandmother Rhoda Maddox reported in TX censuses (1850, 1860 and on) that she was born 1810 in Illinois, father born in Maryland. This information seems to point to the Maddox family in Maryland at least, but I have little to no information to link that far back. Does anyone have research of early Maddox families in Illinois about 1810? The best census info in Illinois is not really until 1810-1820. Rhoda Maddox married Lovick P. Dykes before appearing in Texas censuses in the early 1840s and on. The Dykes family is in Illinois censuses living near Maddox families. If anyone has Maddox people born circa 1810 in Illinois who lived anywhere in the States after that, they might be related to the earliest Maddox people in Illinois censuses.
