My father is Phillip Darell Maddin Sr. and his father was Silas Maddin of Paintsville, KY. I honestly do not know much about my family history. My father did tell me that we were the only family, within the family to spell our nam with an "in' vs "en". He also told me that when he went to Dublin, Ireland a few years ago he located or traced part of our family tree there. Any info would be great.
