Does anyone have any hard and sure sources about this Reuben Macy and/or his marriage to Sarah (Wheeler)? He's the son of Beriah Macy (b. 1796) and Sarah (Haymore) Macy (d/o Britain Jones Haymore and Susannah (Avery) Haymore). He was born 1822 in New Garden, Guilford County, North Carolina, and died 1882 in Missouri. His father died in Indiana, but all of his brothers and sisters were born in NC, so I'm not sure when Beriah moved. The only child I have for Reuben and Sarah is my great-great-great grandma, Julia Frances "Fannie (Macy) Tweedy. Reuben was living with Fannie and her husband and their first three sons in Galena, Jasper County, Missouri, in 1880.

Does anyone know if Sarah (Wheeler) is related to Mary (Wheeler) Gardner, w/o Barnabas Gardner? Mary is the mother to Abigail (Gardner) Macy, step-mom to Beriah's father (Matthew Macy, b.1758). All I know about Sarah is that she was also born in North Carolina.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Kristi Anne McKenzie
