I was reviewing some information and found an interesting note. There is a DAR # for Ona Macy who was somehow related to Owen Owens. I don't know much about this family although I am related to the Owens family. Evidently Owen Owens was married to a Sophia (? Wade). According to the information Owen was born in 1746 in Wales. He died in 1805. Owen had son John who had a daughter Margaret Owens. Margaret Owens married Jeremiah Lewis. Jeremiah Lewis is the father of Nancy Lewis who married George Dath Steele.
