Nancy, I don't have the extra pages of the Clan Macrae history in digital form, only hard copies. If you will email me your postal address, I will copy them & send them to you.
Also, regarding your doctoral studies, do you have the articles entitled "John Macrae--Ian Macmhurchaidh--The Kintail Bard," in vol. 7, 1882, of The Celtic Magazine, pp271-276, 322-325, 387-389, 426-428, 464-467. Also "Iain Mac Mhurchaidh's Songs" in the same publication, 1883, pp462-466. Also "A Song by 'Ian Mac-Mhurchaidh,' The Kintail Bard" in vol.11, April 1886?
You undoubtedly know about them, but if not, would you like copies? What about The Fernaig Manuscript ("Dorlach Laoidhean") in the Malcolm MacFarlane edition, published at Dundee, no date. I also have copies of the article "The Fernaig Manuscript" published in The Celtic Monthly in Feb. 1915, pp38-40, by the same Calum Mac Pharlain. There is another article entitled "The Fernaig MS" in the Celtic Monthly, Oct. 1912, pp. 186-187, 213-214. There isarticle in the Transactions of The Gaelic Society of Inverness, vol. XLI (1951-1952), pp. 132-154 entitled "Alasdair Mac Mhurchaidh" by Mr. Samuel Maclean. Apparently Iain Lom, although based in Lochaber, wrote some of his poems in Kintail. Would they fall within your studies. Do you have access to the "Macdonald Collection of Gaelic Poetry?"
