I do no think our families are connected however I do have two Farquhars in my ancestry family, it was quite a common name.My g grandfather had a brother named Farquhar who came to Canada and was named in the will of my g grandfather who died about 1865 in Stormont county eastern Ontario.If you have names of any siblings it might make a connection.
