Let me start out by appologizing if I am not asking for help properly. I'm just new to genealogy and don't know the proper lingo as of yet so please bear with me.
I'm looking for information on my great grandfather James MacRae. He died in 1917 in Scotland. He married Charlotte James. I have no other information on him or know where to find it. When James passed away his wife remarried Bill Taylor. My Grandfather come to Canada from Elgin Scotland so I'm assuming that was where James was from.
James and Charlot had 3 children Alexander, George (Gordie), and Jean. His wife then had another child with Bill Taylor named Jessie.
If anyone has any information at all conerning him or his family I would really appreciate the help because as I said I'm really new to this and am at kind of a stand still.
