Judy; Vernon is listed in the family history of the John Macomber family (arrived Plymouth on the good ship Anne on April 2,1638). This history was written by Vernon's younger brother Hollis. Hollis was my dad's (Paul Macomber 1922-present) 1st cousin. Which means Vernon also was a 1st cousin of my dad. My dad is alive and well and sharp as a tack. He knows the family history inside and out. I will give you a quick summmary of Vernon. He was born in Hudson Ma. 6/7/06 to George and Emily Bamford Macomber. He had four brothers Verrill (1908),Hollis (1910),George (1912) and Lauris (1914). Vernon married Charlotte Taylor in 1927 they had three children Robert(7/29),Pauline(7/32) and William(7/34). They divorced and Vernon married Alma Arseneau Macomber on 7/3/41. They had two children Nancy Ann (8/42) and Dorothy Jean (7/47). I met Hollis and knew him quite well I don't ever remember meeting Vernon. He at one point moved to New York state. I was born in Concord,Ma in 1949 so I might have met Vernon when I was little and just don't remember.
