Jo Elle, Think I recall your postings from a while back about Betsy. One question, the 1900 Census has Austin as born in Dec 1849, and being 50 years old.
Looking thru my info, the only one that comes to mind as a potential father of Betsy is William McCumber, born between 1780 and 1790, son of Gideon Macomber (1767- ), William lived in Orangeville, Genesee Cty, in 1820, 1830 and 1840. In 1820 he had 2 daughters under age 10. In 1830, one daughter age 10-15. May be some other possibilities of course.
