Here is what I have.
Wyman C. Macomber Co. L 11th VT Infantry. Paroled 3/3/65, Mustered out 9/11/65. Living in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on 1870 Federal census. On the 1880 Federal census he is a farmer living in Independence, Minnesota. Listed on 1883 Hennepin County, Minnesota, Pensioners Roll as receiving $2.00 per month for g.s.w. right shoulder (or right foot). Listed as having drowned in Lake Champlain on 9/13/86. May be incorrect as The Burlington Free Press headline reads Wesson [sic] Macomber supposed to have met a watery grave. His wrecked row boat was found washed ashore. Reported buried at Grand Isle, Vermont, but no death certificate or burial record recorded in Vermont for Wyman Macomber. Hannah G. Macomber granted a widow's pension from New York unknown date. Older brother of Lt. John H. Macomber of Co. C.
