Hello,I'm searching for information on one John McNeill of
the Isle of Barra in the Outer Hebrides.He left the Isle of Barra in 1798 at the age of 12 years old and landed in No.Ire.,and around the time of the battle of Ballynahinch,in the Wolfetone Rebellion.He settled in Glassdrummom or man,Ballynahinch Co. Down.He Married Sarah Murray when he was 21 in 1806,and he was born in 1785.No birth date on Sarah,other than she had 7 children.Her father may have been Thomas Murray.John emagrated to Quebec,Canada about 1848 or 1850.I've been searching for a long time for information on him,so I'd appreicate any info on him and his family very much.
His children were Robert 1807, Thomas 1809, Sarah 1812, John 1816, Mary jane 1818 Christopher 1820. James died in No.Ire.in1834 and wasborn in 1814.Reguards Albert
