MCMASTERS NORTHERN IRELAND

Firstly it would be great if anyone could tell me of any
orphanages inthis area in 1849 that would have sent orphan girls to Australia ?

Secondly I have never been able to confirm where the Diadem (Ship) that Mary Ann McMasters was on that arrived in Port Philip Australia in January 1850 sailed from.......Ireland or UK

I have been lead to believe that the ship left Plymouth UK
BUT does anyone think that perhaps the ship may have left from Northern Ireland via Plymouth ( did this happen?)

I am trying to see if the girl I seek was picked up in Ireland or sent from UK

Then the question arises why was she in Plymouth aged 15 and an orphan???

I would be interested in any one guiding my research for the McMasters of Richhill, Kilmore Co Armagh
and also I would like to know if anyone has a Joseph Mcmasters in there file from this area who was supposed to have gone to America..........a letter received tells of his intended plans to leave Ireland
