I am looking for any knowledge or reference to my great-great-great grandfather Angus McLeod (B: 1788) and Mary McKinnon who immigrated from the Isle of Skye, Scotland in 1802 to North Carolina aboard the 'Duke of Kent.'

I believe he was of the MacLeod's of Talisker in Skye and may have been living on those MacLeod Estate lands given over to Kenneth MacAskill - who introduced sheep to the area.

Can anyone help me here? Thanks.
