I am looking for information on the family of Donald McLellan. He immigrated to Cape Breton from Scotland with his parents around 1819. I believe his parents were Donald McLellan and Mary Gillis, and that they were from Morar. Donald married Mary MacIsaac. Their daughter, Annie, was my great great grandmother. The family moved from the Broad Cove area to the Mira area of Cape Breton around 1860. Annie married Alexander James McDonald of Salmon river, Nova Scotia. Annie had a brother, Vincent, who was a musician. If anyone has information on this family I would be happy to hear from them!
