Looking for any info on Mary A. McLane. She was originally from Nova Scotia, and was the only one from her family to travel to Mass., U.S. She would have lived for a time with John Freeman Ethridge and his wife, Annie McDonald, and their girls. She may have owned land in Mass. as well.
Mary A. McLane may also have been known as "Marion" McLane and Annie McDonald could have been her daughter out of wed-lock. This is hearsay and I can find no proof, but as we are unable to trace Annie's parents ( who were listed as Alexander McDonald and Marion McLane) this story may be true.
Any and all information appreciated!! Have some info and photos to share.
