They had two sons that I know about. Daniel (Donald)Alexander McLean born about 1840 and James Donley McLean born 1848. Daniel came to the USA in 1860. James married Lucy Embree in 1877 in Cumberland County and came to the USA in 1880. Hugh and Daniel were both members of Keith Masonic Lodge of Pictou. They may be in the 1871 census of Albion Mines.
