My MacLean Ancestors
Posted by: Ryan Michael Williams (ID *****5775) Date: October 19, 2007 at 11:52:31
  of 1009

My great-grandmother was Elizabeth Williams (nee MacDonald) 1914-2000 daughter of Neil John MacDonald 1883-1962 from Baddeck NS and Dolena MacLean 1884-1922 from Glace Bay NS. She was also the sister of Jean MacDonald Palm (still living) and Mary Christena (Auntie Crissy) MacDonald d.2002? the sister's grandparents names are unknown to us but their mother Dolena MacLean had a brother named Angus who settled an area up at Quesnel Lake, British Columbia now known as the town of Likely. She did have more siblings but I cannot remember ever hearing the names although I remember hearing about some distant cousins one of them named Ron. Anyway if you have any information whatsoever please contact me ASAP. Oh and before I forget, MacLean street in Glace bay is named after my gg-grandmother's family if that helps.

Ryan M. Williams
