Desparately seeking info. on John Wesley (either Maclean or Smith) born in Virginia on Feb. 4, 1889.
Married his 2nd wife in 1926 in Arizona and later moved to California where he, his wife and 2 daughters are listed on the 1930 census. He died from an auto accident on May 7, 1933 in San Diego, CA. Unknown family members later visited the grave to make sure he was actually dead.
When he met and married his 2nd wife his name was John Wesley Smith. No known John Wesley Smith born in Virginia on Feb. 4, 1889 according to Virginia Dept. of Health. Possible connection to Mclean.
First wife is unknown, but they had 2 sons named Orville and J.T. according to info. given to his 2nd wife.
