Mo charaid Brian. I was very interewted in your message. My Macleans are from Ceannabhagh/ Kenovay and it is highly likely that I am related to you but how I do not know.My. g.g. grandfather Donald Maclean (born circa 1795 died 1866) father Hector Maclean m. to Margaret Maclean) (of Drumfhroaich) was married to Christina McDonald whose son Hector was my great grandfather. He married Mary McDonald b. 1850 ands they produced my grandmother Christina Maclean (b,. 1873)who married my grandfather Hector Maclean b. 1858. Hector's father was Archibald Maclean b. 1819 m. to Mary Campbell b. 1825. Archibald's father was Charles (Tearlach)b. 1776. His father was John Maclean. Archobald and Mary Campbell had a son my g.uncle Allan Maclean who was one of 21 children according to my mother Mary Maclean. My cousin Lachlan Maclean still lives at Druimfhraoich)Yuo can see him on the Tiree website sowing corn!!!

Look forward to hearing from you and exchanging info.

Beannachd leat

Gordon
