I am looking for the names of my gg grandfather Duncan McLean's parents. His parents, according to census records, were both born in Scotland. Duncan McLean was born in 1853 in Canada. He married Lovina Schell in 1883 and they had four children to my knowledge: Duncan (1884), John Nathaniel (1886), Lottie (1891), and Harry (1894). Duncan and John Nathaniel were born in Manitoba and Lottie and Harry were born in North Dakota. Duncan became a U.S. citizen in 1890. In 1900, they lived in Bottineau county, North Dakota.
