Hello Allan,

You certainly have inherited the typical MacLean names!!

You might be missing a generation between the two Lachlans in the ancestry you posted. Most of my references show Hector Roy MacLean as father of Lachlan Bronnach MacLean.

* Mary MacDonald + Lachlan Lubanach MacLean, 1st of Duart
>> Hector Roy MacLean, 2nd of Duart + daughter Douglas
* Lachlan Bronnach MacLean, 3rd of Duart
* Donald MacLean of Ardgour + Evere Cameron

Would you mind telling me what sources you used so we can try to determine which is correct?
