Allan: I have no direct relations but my MacLeans from Killean and Kilchenzie in Kintyre all have the same names. My gg grandfather was Allan, his brother Hector and in the family there are more Lachlans of various spellings. There were at least two McLean families who left in the early 1800s for the Grand Lake area of New Brunswick Canada and one who left earlier and was in charge of the Brooklyn Navy Yard but was forced to leave as a result of the War of 1776.
