Hello,
Searching for information regarding this and I do believe it's Jan Macklin who was born 6 Sep 1702 in Scotland. He married Marritje DeWitt and I show one child for them named Cornelius McLean. It seems Cornelius married 19 Aug 1726 to Sarah Schoonmaker and their daughter's name was Catharina McClean. 3 name spellings boggles my mind, I suspect there may be some errors and I"m trying to locate where. Catharina went on to marry Jacob Linderman and it goes on down to myself (Osmun) If anyone has these people or wants to try to find out where the lines fit togther I'm more than happy to share what I have here.
