Jackie, Thanks for your postings. John Angus MacLean b. 8-18-1851, Inverness County, N.S., Canada had 7 sisters... Mary (died in snow storm as a child), Sarah, Eunice b. 1846, m. Donald Campbell; Rachael b. 1848, m. Neil Fraser; Jessie b. 1853, m. Alex Wilson; Flora b. 1856; Mary Jessie b. 1859, m. Dan MacQuarrie. This information was provided many years ago by my cousin. I can't be sure it is correct at this point. John Angus MacLean is said to have left N.S. at approx. 17 - 21 years of age and joined the Railroad. He retired after 40 years of service with the Wheeling Lake Erie RR. John d. Sept. 20, 1937 in Zanesville, OH (Muskinghum County).
