Hi Cuz:
Your ggggrandfather is my gggrandfather. According to my records, Sarah married "unknown" McKinnon about 1820 and bore him two children, Sarah McKinnon (@ 1822) who married a Waters and George W. McKinnon (6/15/1825-8/20/1897) who married Margarett Stewart on 1/30/1851. I have a copy of their marriage license in which she signed her name with two "t"'s.

George and Margaret had six children that I know off:
Sarah Catherine (11/20/1851-8/30/1855), William W. (9/24/1857-2/151929)[married (1885) Littla F. Bittle (1/22/1872-2/22/1945)], Artela Frances (6/15/1858-3/15/1866), Sarah Elizabeth (4/7/1860-8/6/1937) [married (1876) John Pressley Grant], Nora Ann (8/24/1861-2/5/1940)[married (12/10/1882) James Preston Driggers (7/14/1840-10/15/1909)], Margaret (6/23/1865-11/9/1931)[married John William Kelly (2/28/1866-6/21/1947).

Margaret McKinnon Kelly was my great grandmother.

One of the descendants of Sarah's first marraige to Norman Campbell is Myrtle Bridges from whom I got a great deal of my infomation on the McKinnons and Campbells. If you go to the Richmond County, NC website, you can get Myrtle's e-mail address; she is in charge of that site.

Happy Searching,
Tom Keefe
