I am searching for information on my grandfather Dan Hughie MacKinnon. I am told that his birthday is somewhere around the 26th-28th March.The only family member of Dan Hughie that I am aware of is a brother Alexander(who moved somewhere in the United States). It is believed that his fathers name was Martin. Dan Hughie was married to Margaret (Maggie) Mattheson and had the following children: Roy,Albert,Cora,Becky, and Sadie. Dan Hughie died in New Waterford. He was raised in Whycocomagh and his occupation was "cow catcher".
