My ancestor is Duncan Campbell MacKinnon, b. Feb 12, 1821 in Glasgow. Parents: Charles McKInnon b. abt. 1795, Glasgow, and Agnes Campbell b. abt. 1799 in Glasgow, Another child is Charles, b. July 14, 1825. Duncan emigrated to Canada in 1849 and settled in Bruce Co., Ontario. Don't think he is directly related to the big MacKinnon families of PEI or Nove Scotia. Looking for info on the Glasgow connection, parents info, what happened to Charles, etc. Anything greatly appreciated.
