I am looking for information on the Kinnen/Kinnon family, especially in Ohio. I have Kinnens in my family (from the Muskingum County area) in my family tree, the earliest known being John Richard Kinnen (born in the 1830's). I know that the name was originally MacKinnon, and that the family 'Americanized' the name when they got to the US. If anyone knows anything about this branch of the MacKinnon clan, I will appreciate any assistance. Thanks.
