I have a Marjorie MacKinnon from Isle of Muck who married John Fraser from Inverness-shire. They settled in the Mabou, Nova Scotia area. Am assuming Marjorie's father may have been Duncan MacKinnon, based on the assumption that generally the second son was named after the mother's father. Does any of this fit into your family's history.
