Hi John,
Thanks for your message...I have kids too, so I know how hard it can be to find time to do research (I am exhausted from being on the internet in the "wee" hours).
Anyway...just wondering if your Grandmother's name happened to be Lillian Vaughn (sp?). My mother knew her and said she was a delightful lady. If my calculations are right I keep coming back to her as a possible wife for Robert Henderson MacKinnon. I may be on the completely wrong track, but it is certainly a question for me as to which MacKinnon she was married to, if not your grandfather.
