Thank you for your response. John William MacKinnon (M: Katheryn MacKinnon) adopted a girl who became known as Allegra Mary MacKinnon. Allegra was born on 10/4/1904 in Brockton, MA at a private residence from what I can gather. I have been trying to trace her biological family and was hoping that someone in the MacKinnon family might know about her adoption. Allegra was my grandmother. Allegra's biological mother's last name was Sampson and she was born in Hanson, MA.
